May Artwalk

May 1, 2019 - May 27, 2019

Hagan Fine Art is celebrating our newest artist, Larry Horowitz for the month of May.

Larry Horowitz is an American landscape painter from New York City. He currently shows in galleries across the United States and in Canada. His work is in many major corporate and private collections. He has been selected to participate in the Arts-In-Embassies program in the United States Embassies in Finland and Russia.

Horowitz's work captures the beauty of the American landscape with an expert use of texture and color that invites imagination and discovery. Through his art, Horowitz strives to depict America's vanishing landscape. Although he paints en plein air, he has a firm grounding in abstract expressionism through his education with former students from the Bauhaus and Hans Hofmann school. He has combined both points of view to develop his own unique language.

Please join us Friday, May 3rd from 5-8pm to meet Larry and enjoy being one of the firsts to see the new original paintings.

If you haven't been to Downtown Charleston's First Fridays yet, you're in for a treat! Be one of the first people to see the wonderful body of work Amy has brought to the gallery and be sure to say "Hi" to her and all of us here at Hagan Fine Art.

On Display: May 1st - 27th

Opening Reception: May 3rd 5-8pm
