The creations of Tim Adams' chandeliers are based on the unlikely beauty of found materials from the various natural settings in Savannah, GA, and the Lowcountry. These are then re-purposed into functional art. Time spent both at work in Savannah's industrial district, and at the beach with friends and family, inspired us to incorporate natural components with man-made metal fixtures, resulting in an aesthetic contrast which combines the sturdiness of metal with the inherent organic appeal of objects such as seashells and driftwood. His pieces combine a generous cross-section of both realities, seamlessly reconciling the two very different worlds while maintaining perfect functionality.
Each of Adams' lighting fixture is hand-drilled, hand-tied and 100% handmade. The amount of time, attention to detail and unique features are evident in every masterpiece that is created. The Adams’ designs have garnered both local and national press for their original and beautiful use of natural, raw and recycled materials. (Not to mention hundreds of admiring fans in Charleston, SC!)
